FAQs
What is luggage storage, and how does it work?
Our luggage storage service lets you securely store your luggage (suitcases, backpacks, bags, oversized items or any other personal items) for a day, few days or even months. Just book online, drop off your bags in selected Shelfie box, and explore!
Is the storage area secure?
Yes! Our storage facility is equipped with electronic access locks, individual box alarms and 24/7 CCTV. Only you have access to your box during the time of the rental via individual PIN code.
How much does it cost to store bags?
We believe in transparent, simple pricing. Storing your bags with us costs €10 per day, which is for the period from 8AM to 8PM. The price is fixed regardless of how many bags you have to store and includes €2,000 insurance. There are no extra admin costs or fees!
Can I store multiple bags?
Yes! Our storage boxes have dimensions of 1 x 1 square meter and are 2.3 meters high so the space is yours to fill it with however many bags you have with you! You pay one price regardless of the number of items you store with us.
Are there any restricted items?
For safety, we don’t allow hazardous materials, perishable goods, or illegal items.
Where is Shelfie luggage storage located?
We’re centrally located in central Antwerp on the second floor of the iconic Stadsfeestzaal Shopping on Meir, convenient for exploring the city without extra weight. It’s only 9- minute walk to Antwerpen-Centraal Train Station, 10-minute walk to Cathedral of Our Lady, 12 minute walk to Grote Markt and 25-minute walk to MAS Museum.
How do I access the storage?
Shelfie Storage is operating through a fully remote system where access is granted by a unique PIN code generated for you and sent to you via email. The PIN opens the entrance doors and then the doors to your Shelfie box. All you need to remember is locking the door properly before you leave!
What hours is the luggage storage accessible?
Shelfie Storage is open within operating hours of Stadsfeestzaal which is Monday to Saturday from 8AM to 8PM. Do make sure not to be late to pick up your bags - the doors to Stadsfeestzaal close sharp at 8PM every night, or they will be locked overnight. Note also that we are closed on Sunday so make sure to not leave your bags overnight on Saturday if you need to access them the next day!
Can I change or extend my storage time?
